Got my student teaching assignment!

So I finally know where and what grade my teaching. I am at Campo Vista High (8 miles from my house). I'm teaching 3 english freshman classes, journalism and yearbook. I have to read "To Kill a Mocking Bird" and "Romeo and Juliet" before school starts. Journalism and Yearbook will be so easy because they are doing the school newspaper and yearbook. Won't be so bad! hopefully ;)

Published!

Over the summer, I had a photograph published in a magazine of my husband Matt playing football. That lens I shot with was amazing. It made me want one - but it was $1200. For christmas?? - when Matt becomes a doctor! :)

Matt and I went to San Francisco yesterday. You can see more over here. I love the fact that snow does not exist here in Cali. 3 more weeks until we move to AZ!

So we are in Oakland California. It has been an adventure. Today, Matt drank their sour milk, got sick and the hotel was redonkulous. We got in a fight, got a free room and moved to a different, kinder hotel. What is a wedding without drama??

we finally found the apartment we are moving to. Its a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom place. We sign on Monday. yay!

I am just excited about this lovely feature... BBQ grills and a fireplace outside. Just heavenly.

I heart Christmas

I don't care if it's November because I LOVE Christmas and these are my lights around my door... The only decor Matt would let me put up because we are moving soon! Let the Christmas season begin... shopping ;)

I think we may have found the apartment we are moving to.. we are debating if we want a 1 or 2 bedroom.
